Can banking get any easier?

We live in a world of convenience. Almost everything to do with our daily living can be done by a tap or a swipe of our finger. From shopping online, booking a taxi, ordering pizza, buying your groceries and using GPS to find your way – convenience as proven over and over again is key to a winning product.

Now it seems, convenience has gone to a new level, at least in the world of banking.

Introducing Kaching (pronounced Ka-Ching), the Commonwealth Bank’s newest banking app and a world first!

Kaching allows Commonwealth Bank customers to transfer money to anyone on their iPhone contact list, Facebook friend list or Email contact list… and the brilliant thing about it is you don’t even have to know their bank account details!!

It’s as simple as logging in, selecting your friend’s phone number, adding the amount and tapping Pay. Your friend receives a message and email and all they have to do is approve the transfer within 14 days. It's only available to Commonwealth customers, but it won't be long before other banks begin releasing similar apps.
